# How to change my Scalable Cloud Servers' hostname

This article will help you to change the hostname of your Scalable Cloud Server to appear on the client area for better reference.

1. Visit the Scalable Cloud Server manage page of the server
2. Visit the **Rebuild** tab on the left navigation panel
3. On the **Change Hostname** option, type in your new hostname
4. Click the green Update hostname button to save your changes
