# How to Enable Privacy Protection for your domain on CloudCone

You can enable **Privacy Protection** to safeguard your information registered on a domain you own.

Domain privacy protection conceals personal information provided during domain registration by replacing it with a privacy provider's contact information on the public WHOIS database.

Follow the simple steps in this guide to enable Privacy Protection on a domain purchased from CloudCone

1. Go to the **Privacy** tab in the domain's manage page

2. Click on the **Purchase Privacy Protection** button.

3. A pop-up window will appear with pricing details. Click on the **Confirm Purchase** button to complete your purchase

Privacy Protection will now be activated for your domain
