# How to enable Web Apllication Firewall (WAF) on a CDN pullzone

A Web Application Firewall (WAF) protects your CDN Pull zone from a variety of application layer attacks 

To enable WAF on your Pull zone, follow the steps shown below;

1. Go to the **WAF** tab in the Pull zone's manage page 
2. Click the **Enable** check box to enable and view firewall settings. 
3. Select your preferred options, or leave it as default and click on the **Save WAF Settings** button

Your PULL zone will now be protected from the selected options.
