# How to protect your CDN Pull Zone content with a password

You can enable and setup a basic  HTTP basic authentication to your CDN pull zone to prevent unauthorized, public access to the content. 

To setup HTTP basic authentication, follow the simple steps below;

1. Go to the **Security** tab in the Pull zone's manage page 
2. Under **Password** tick the **Enable** check box to open password settings.
3. Set your _Username_ and _Password_ , and also a basic _Unauthorized HTML_ message for failed attempts
4. Click on the **Save Password Settings** button to save.

That's it. Your endpoint content will now be protected for unauthorized access.
