Deploy a Virtual Private Server

How to create a Virtual Private Server at CloudCone with a few clicks


Deploying a Virtual Private Server in CloudCone is easy and can be done by following these simple steps.



  1. Click on the Create new button, which is the green colored button with a plus icon, at the top right corner and select Virtual Private Server from the drop-down.

You can also click on the Deploy Linux button at the top of the list of your Budget VPSs


You will be taken to the VPS plans page where you can select your preferred plan.



  • You can select the plan that best fit your requirement.



  1. Configure the details of your VPS

You will be taken to the plan deployment page where you select your Data Center, enter your Hostname and select add-on resources for your VPS


Select the DC location you prefer and enter a unique hostname for your VPS as well.



For this tutorial, let's create an SSD Virtual Private Server in the St. Louis, MO datacenter with + 1 add-on CPU cores deployed on CentOS 7.9 x86_64.


  • You can select whatever values that best fit the needs of your Virtual Private Server.



  1. Once you're happy with the configuration and the pricing, click on the Deploy Server button to create your first Virtual Private Server! ⚡



It will take a few seconds to complete the creation of your VPS. When it's done, you will see the following screen which displays information about your VPS and allows you to manage it.



Note: once your VPS starts to boot up, your root password will be emailed to you.
