How to add Cloud Credits to your account to keep it active and running

| Cloud Credits are the main method of payment used throughout CloudCone. You need to have Cloud Credits in your account to keep using our services.

Adding these credits can be done simply by;

logging into the CloudCone panel at https://app.cloudcone.com/
Navigate to the billing page found on https://app.cloudcone.com/billing
Select Add funds from the left navigation menu.
Add funds to your account by using 4 methods: PayPal, AliPay, Card on file or Promotional Codes.

PayPal

To add funds using PayPal, click the Add button and continue by following the steps on PayPal.

AliPay

To add funds via AliPay, enter the amount you need to add and click on the Add button, and you will be redirected to AliPay to complete the transaction

Card on file

To add funds using your card on file, enter the amount you need to add and click on the Add button.

Scalable Cloud Servers are billed hourly, you will receive a bill on the 1st of every month for the previous month's hourly use, which means you are charged for the number of hours your Scalable Cloud Server uses during the month. When you create your Scalable Cloud Server, you will see your total bill per hour and per month.

Hourly and Monthly Estimate

Deploying a Scalable Cloud Server on Cloudcone is easy and can be done within a few minutes by following these simple steps.

Log in to the Cloudcone panel at https://app.cloudcone.com/

Click on the ** Create new** button, which is the green colored button with a plus icon at the top right corner and select Scalable Cloud Server from the drop-down.

You will be taken to the Create instance page where you can select the resources and the configuration of your Scalable Cloud Server.

For this tutorial, lets create a Scalable Cloud Server with 2 CPU cores, 2GB of RAM, 40GB Disk and 1 IPv4 address. You can select whatever values that best fit the needs of your Scalable Cloud Server.

Next, you can select an Operating System to deploy your Scalable Cloud Server on. You can also select an Application Recipe to deploy a pre-configured application for your Scalable Cloud Server. In this case, we will be deploying the Application Recipe Rocket.Chat.

Rebuild Your Scalable Cloud Server

How to install a fresh OS onto your Scalable Cloud Server and boot it up.

If anytime you mess any installations, you are free to rebuild your Scalable Cloud Server and start from scratch by re-installing a fresh OS onto your Scalable Cloud Server.

To rebuild your Scalable Cloud Server you can follow these steps in order,

Log in to the CloudCone panel at https://app.cloudcone.com/
Navigate to the Compute page
Access the management page by clicking on the Manage button of your Scalable Cloud Server
Then select Rebuild from the left side navigation menu.

On the Re-Install Server page, select the operating system you want to install on your Scalable Cloud Server and click on the Re-install button. You will be asked to confirm your action. Click Yes to continue.

Once you confirm, your Scalable Cloud Server will be shutdown, and you can ping your IP to see when it is back online 😀
