Reinstall your Virtual Private Server
How to install a fresh OS onto your VPS .
If anytime you mess any installations, you are free to rebuild your VPS and start from scratch by re-installing a fresh OS onto your VPS.
This will format your disks and all your current data will be erased and are not recoverable.
To rebuild your VPS you can follow these steps in order,
Log in to the CloudCone panel
Navigate to the Virtual Private Server page
Access the management page by clicking on the Manage button of your VPS
Then select Rebuild from the left side navigation menu.
On the Rebuild page, select the operating system you want to install on your VPS and click on the Re-install button. You will be asked to confirm your action. Click Yes to continue.
Once you confirm, your VPS will be shutdown, and reinstalled. Once the tasks are done, you can ping the IPv4 address to see when it is back online 😀
The rebuilding process will take around 40 seconds to complete and after that, you are good to go.
