How to take a snapshot of my Scalable Cloud Server?
If something goes wrong in your Scalable Cloud Server with new updates or etc. it is always good to have a snapshot ready. A snapshot can restore your Scalable Cloud Server back to the point in time before the error occurred and help you get the issue rectified. It can also be used to help with creating quick backups.
Taking a snapshot is pretty easy, the following steps will guide you to take a snapshot of your Scalable Cloud Server.
Visit your Scalable Cloud Server's manage page
On the left navigation tabs, click on Snapshots
Type in a note to label your snapshot for future reference (Optional)
Click on Take Snapshot
You can monitor your snapshots progress in the tasks tab.
Once the snapshot is complete, the status will change to Built
